  • The Tuskegee Institute News Clipping File (1899-1966) - gives an expansive view of the years following emancipation in America.
  • Black Leaders in American History - features three centuries of newspapers, periodicals, books, speeches, pamphlets, and documents surrounding key leaders.
  • Black Abolitionist Papers (1830-1865) - includes the important writings, speeches, and correspondence of nearly 300 black abolitionists, materials long neglected in the studies of the anti-slavery movement that precipitated the Civil War.
